Dark wooden floorboards add a grounding earthiness to the open and airy rooms, featuring both indigenous and contemporary design details, such as original photography of local butterflies. Timber shingles have been reclaimed in a randomly-stacked, textured feature wall. Locally-crafted wooden and batik artifacts also decorate the suite. In the master bathroom, soft, neutral tones are illuminated by dimmable overhead lights. Contemporary fixtures include a separate rainforest shower, a free-standing bathtub, a separate water closet, dual vanities, and a dressing table with a mirror.

An idyllic personal alcove, the Jacuzzi Studio boasts dark wood flooring and natural hues to emphasize its connection to the outdoors. These accommodations are located on the ground floor of the resort’s north wing and are named after butterfly species found in Langkawi.This studio is distinguished by its private Jacuzzi on the 9-square-metre covered terrace that also affords a dining table and two chairs. The terrace opens up to a 15-square-metre garden, where guests can admire the rainforest and hear the tranquillity of rhythmic waves from the Andaman shore.

Upon stepping into the 171-square-metre Presidential Suite, guests are greeted by dark wooden flooring and solid teak furnishings in a modern tropical style. Unmatched views can be admired from the suite’s 19-square-metre balcony. Two comfortable sun beds and a teak coffee table provide the perfect perch. The separate living area includes a 46” LED flat screen TV, as well as plush couches and armchairs that can comfortably accommodate up to four guests. In the dining room, six guests can enjoy splendid cuisine and fine company over a solid teak dining table.
