Europe is home to aplethoraof different countries and cultures, all which offer stunning holiday getaways suitable for Muslim families and travellers of all ages. While many people tend to opt for travelling to the other side of the world for their annual escapade, many have yet to discover the beauty and variety by these European destinations before we (the UK) leave the EU for good.

Amsterdam

Located in the Western Netherlands in the province of North Holland, Amsterdam is home to a large number of canals and beautiful houses. There are a total of 165 canals in Amsterdam with a total of

100 kilometres (60 miles) of water. With plenty of streets full of history to discover, and UNESCO World Heritage sites to explore, Amsterdam is definitely worth exploring.

It’s a great place to visit if you’re looking to enjoy the majority of your time exploring. Featuring handfuls of art hotels, festivals, markets, delicious food stalls, museums and galleries and so much more, this European city is definitely meant for those looking to keep on the go.

Sightseeing in Amsterdam

When it comes to sightseeing there is plenty to explore in Amsterdam. From learning about Amsterdam’s past at the Stadsarchief to enjoying a sunny day at the Blijburg beach, Amsterdam is full of fun activities and stunning scenery. You can even practice your bargaining skills at the Sunday Market! Whatever you plan to do, Amsterdam will keep you on your feet all day and night long.

With the city’s charming look, rich history, unique activities, and colourful tulip season, visitors tend to drop by all year round. Tourist season peaks in July and August, when the weather’s at its finest, however, many enjoy visiting during mid- April in hope of seeing the many tuplis in full bloom.

Oslo

Prague

Lisbon

Set over sprawling hills and close to beautiful sandy beaches, Lisbon is Portugal’s largest city, and a thriving centre for culture. Only a two hour flight from London, it’s a long weekend with your name on it.

Budapest
