Inclusions

The pleasures of food are openly celebrated at Coco Bodu Hithi with the satisfaction of body and mind a guiding goal. To realise this vision, there are four restaurants that share the secrets of local cuisine as well as offering global favourites. Michelin-starred chefs visit the restaurants every year to create one-off experiences, a testament to the reputation for serving some of the best food in the Maldives. Add to this their inimitable service style and you can be sure that you will live well during your stay.

Air: The poolside restaurant uses fresh ingredients from land and sea to craft a menu of halal friendly dishes. Delicious simplicity is the much-loved result. The day at Air starts with a spectacular buffet of breakfasts from around the world. Lunch offers our guests an À la carte menu of vibrant European salads, Maldivian specialities, prime cuts charred to perfection on the grill, and mouth-watering desserts. Indian, Arabic, Italian or French, the dinner buffets are themed to celebrate iconic cuisines. Friday night is always dedicated to the food of the Maldives, with local cooks travelling to the island to create speciality appetisers and curries.

Aqua: Classical yet modern and exquisitely beautiful, Aqua’s chefs showcase the fragrant delicacy of Thai and South East Asian flavours in a seasonal menu focussed on the days local seafood catch. Open for dinner only, it has a distinctively romantic feel. Sitting over the water, it offers spectacular views as well as sensational food and service. In 2016, it was voted ‘Best luxury seafood restaurant in the Maldives’ in the World Luxury Restaurant Awards. Arranged across a series of decks over the lagoon you can enjoy À la carte options from a glorious platter of lobster, reef fish, calamari and king prawns to Asian salads and oriental dips.

Stars: Found on the east side of the island standing over the lagoon, within the Coco Residences enclave, Stars is an exclusive venue on the island. Breakfast, lunch and dinner feature an inspired fusion of Mediterranean and contemporary Asian flavours. Throughout the day, Stars serves a full menu of tantalising mocktails, tea quenchers, coffees and soft drinks. Facing west, Stars is where to be as the sun says its nightly goodbye.

Tsuki: Clarity, lightness, simplicity and order are the words used to describe the hallmarks of Japanese cooking. At Tsuki every plate takes up this mantle and celebrates the seafood, rice, soya and vegetable bounty of nature. Refined yet unpretentious, graceful yet satisfying and inherently healthy, the chefs prepare Japanese soups, salads, tempura, sashimi, sushi, hot dishes and desserts. Dine À la carte or choose to dive into the minds of your chefs and try one of their curated 5-course menus. Located in an elevated position above Latitude, guests can choose to dine outside on the terrace in the soft evening breeze or sit at the sushi bar and watch the theatre of the chefs preparing their masterful dishes.
